ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Rivian has chosen Georgia for its newest $5B plant, located in and around Morgan County. A comprehensive project has been launched to change perceptions and generate support for the new plant from the local community in Georgia. The plant is scheduled to open in 2026.
Extensive research with Rivian stakeholders, Georgia politicians, Morgan County residents, and business leaders informed the creation of a dynamic web experience and inspirational videos to showcase Rivian’s state-of-the-art plant and their commitment to economic development and community involvement.
The main challenges include a lack of understanding of the positive economic impact Rivian can bring, potential negative sentiment towards electric vehicles in general, and the risk of missing the opportunity to cultivate loyal advocates.
The project’s key highlights are two compelling videos — one celebrating Rivian’s new roots in Georgia, emphasizing the synergy between the company and the state, and the other outlining the plant’s plans and the positive impact it will have on the community.
